The book with the pencil on it can also go on the desk and the small photo album goes with the others on the shelves. Open the desk drawer and put the diary and ruler inside, then close it and put the cup of brushes and box of crayons on top of the desk. The piggy bank and dreidel can go on top of the drawers. Put the Procedure board game on top of the red and black board game case, then put them on the bottom shelf of the drawers. Pick up the Rubik's Cube and keep messing with it until it's solved, then put it in the drawers with the colorful circle toy. Upper Box: Put everything down onto the floor. Next, we're going to put some of the toys in the top shelf of the drawers under the window. Then place the three stuffed animals on top of the bed. Keep on clicking the box and place everything on the floor for now, then click the empty box to make it disappear. You can see that there's a drawer with shelves inside and we can place items inside it. Whatever your opinion on the topic which I will not spoil or discuss, calling your product a "zen game" while intentionally creating content that will spark controversy, makes you a bit of a liar.Ĭonsidering the limited to nonexistent re-playability and limited amount of content - even with how high quality it is, the game is overpriced and I'd not recommend buying it unless it's about 50% off at least. For this level, we'll be dealing with just one bedroom. Fortunately, there aren't many such things.įurthermore, the devs decided to make a very specific statement about halfway into the game, and it also feels a bit shoehorned and out of nowhere, so if you are averse to topics regarding certain lifestyles, you should probably avoid this game. Some of them are pretty non-descript, others are things that not everyone uses and the devs kinda expect that you do, which can lead to unnecessary annoyance or frustration. For a self described "zen game", some of the item placement requirements are a bit stringent and there is not tips, or anything of the sort, and if you don't know all of the items present, you will sometimes struggle. Unfortunately, it is not completely without blemishes. It is a great title to just lose a couple hours in when you need to relax, listen to some great instrumentals, and click at couple things to take your mind off of more stressful stuff. Of course, one could argue that the game is limited in its scope, but in this case, it is definitely quality over quantity. The pixel art in this game is one of the best I have seen. You notice, as with each moving, some items disappear, others are added, some of them stay but their condition changes, etc. ![]() It's a beautiful game telling a story of a life, or part of it at least, through items and locations. If you are looking for a short but well put together game than this will do it for you. Unpacking is a well put together indie game from a small developer and I am so impress it made want to fold my socks and put my clothes away that were lying on my floor for 2 weeks. To figuring it all out at the end and starting a life with her partner. The chracters life is told in such a way from trying to find herself and what she wants to do with her life. From seeing the different rooms to unpack you tell the character is getting older to levels where she finally meets a partner and creates a life together really is a beautifull thing to see and play The story is really nothing special but what makes me impress is that every object you unpack tells the story. ![]() The objects that you unpack really brought nostalgia back to me like unboxing a PS2 or Gamecube really shows the little deatils that can put a smile on someones face. The vibrant colours through out each level really brought the game to life. Unpacking is a Indie game that makes chores fun a game that makes one of the boring jobs fun. ![]()
